Stupidest DP Rumor Ever

"I heard from a member of DeviantART that a friend of there's got an email from Nick saying

"Danny
Phantom is half kid, half ghost, and all action - and he's back with
ALL NEW EPISODES in April, and a special feature-length episode where
Danny visits the Phantom Planet!"

They thought it was a brand
new season but actually it was when Danny Phantom season 3 is airing in
the UK *ish happy cause she lives in the UK*
So that must mean the USA will be airing DP before April (unless the UK gets the eps first *confused*)

and also it's given us a hint of the 1 hour special of season 3 Special feature-length episode where Danny visits the Phantom Planet!"



Lurked through TV.com and pulled out what I declare the stupidest rumor in DP I've ever heard (see the one in bold). Other then the fact that DP isn't gonna air in April in the US (according to VERY reliable sources), Phantom Planet?!

I swear to GOD if this rumor turns out true and we get some stupid shit that the ghosts are aliens or something, I will walk out of DP and just...stick with Chess Piece or my own fan based creation because that is the most stupidest thing I've ever heard, too stupid to be a DP episode.

Probably bs. TV.com is never really reliable with sources due to practically anyone being able to post their own two cents and heresay without real proof to support it. that being said, WTF "phantom Planet"?!? I think that 'the ghost zone' is enough. Unless this is a half hazard attempt to link in Crash Nebula or tie in dandy's love of Spacetravel. But, still... lame , Majorly stupid and lame. I hope its not true.

Aha Phantom Planet. I instantly had images of Danny pretending to be Captian Planet right there.
But ghosts being aliens? That's as plausable as Danny running around in rainbow spandex with the PHANTOMTEERS, and saving the planet from OMG ICKY GREEN POLLUTION.

Maybe it's GHOST-LIKE aliens or maybe this "phantom planet" is in the Ghost Zone where ghosts of aliens or just certain ghost live on. But yeah, it would turn out stupid if the rumor is true. Having aliens in DP is bad. Stick with Ben 10 if you want a kid superhero battling aliens.

That rumor eerily did remind me of an IM chat I had with a friend who actually wanted to see aliens in the DP world while I was all like, "No feckin' way, it wouldn't fit". Great, as if I already have enough DP crap to deal with.

Er, sorry. When I posted that, I knew I was preaching to the choir. Neo and I aren't Frostbite fans.

I'm not bothered that Frostbite doesn't look "ghostly." I think that was Neoyi's point. From my perspective, the purpose he serves in "Danny Phantom" could have been handled better by a pre-existing character- namely Clockwork- and I'm not a fan of him for that reason. So far, he hasn't added anything but clutter to the series for me.

The whole not looking ghostly thing is I think more on an artistic level to me then it is on Frostbite's character, but like Tav said, his uselessness is generally why I never gave a shit towards him. There's a review I gave on "Infinite Realms" in my DA journal that goes into this and a review of "Urban Jungle" on my website that explains overall why I never cared for him, it goes into greater details that I'm too lazy to explain here.
