FFIX Danny Phantom

I've just replayed FFIX last night and I realized I could name my main characters with DP names. Now, that's not the thing that makes me giddy, but the creative licenses I can imput. So that said, Zidane is Vlad and Garnet is Danny because I'd basically be reading dialogue with Vlad telling how much he wants to get down Danny's pants.

That said, here's a list of other FFIX characters with DP names:



*Zidane Tribal is Vlad Masters - Well, other then both sporting ponytails, neither of them have anything in common, I just named the two that because of...

*Princess Garnet is Prince Danny Fenton - ...Of this person. Garnet is Danny due to Vlad/Danny love and Danny's already a girl anyways, so what does it matter?

*Steiner is Jack - Both bumbling, often one-sided in their views man, but loyal and well meaning. Steiner and Garnet also have a close connection as Jack does with Danny, just in different ways.

*Vivi is Sam - Honestly, I only put the two together because Vivi's sorrowful nature fits well with Sam's goth lifestyle.

*Freya is Jazz - She's got Jazz's maturity and while Jazz isn't that big of a fighter, she's shown she could hold her own...well, in "Maternal Instincts" anyways.

*Quina is Klemper - They're both pasty faced weirdos.

*Eiko is Dani - Because they're both annoying, whiny little girls that never shuts up (Yeah, I don't like either of these characters).

*Amarant is Skulker - Both Bounty Hunters...well, I guess Skulker is more hunter then bounty, but still.


And just for fun, what I would name the others if I could...

*Kuja is Phantom - Oh, please. White haired, pale faced dudes hellbent on trying to blow up the planet, perfect match.

*Queen Brahne is Queen Pariah...King...Pariah - Both wanna conquer the world. Although Pariah would be King...oh, hell, I'd make him a Queen and say he has a fondness for crossdressing. His "daughter" Danny's already playing the damsel in distress role.

*Garland is Clockwork - Both of their actions at the beginning seem questionable (Garland wanted to suck the planet Gaia dry out it's soul, CW tried to kill Danny), but they end up helping the heroes in the end.

*Beatrix is Maddie - Butt kicking females with a sense of elegance.

*Mikoto is Danny Phantom - Danny's ghost half plays the role of the third Angel of Death of the Genome tribe and "sister" of Zidane/Vlad.

*Tantulus is...bunches of ghosts and others Ember is Ruby, Johhny is Marco, Box Ghost is Cinno, Those Guys in White agents can be part of the Nero Brothers, either one is fine, Blank is GhostWriter, and Baku is Frostbite.

*Regent Cid is Tucker Womanizing with a knack for technology, perfect.

*Hilda is...Paulina or Star - Eh, one of those two.

*Zorn and Thorn are the Observants - They're twins (or lookalikes in the Observants case for all we know) and bother the shit out of people.

*Sir Fratley is Technus - Becuase I like the Jazz/Technus pair and I gave Technus a spear in CP.

*Lani is Valerie - Black chicks who can fight, also one's a bounty hunter, the other is a ghost hunter. Lani is also partner to Amarant/Skulker, both also bounty hunters. I R CLEVER!

*Dr. Tot - Lancer cuz' they're both bookworms.

*Puck is Dash - Because they both have an attitude.

*Genomes are Halfas - Genomes in FF9 are soulless beings awaiting for souls in the dying planet of Terra with exception of Kuja, Zidane, and Mikoto (all having souls) who were to bring about souls to Terra by destroying Gaia's population and thus creating more souls which would travel to Terra via the Iifa Tree. Halfas (half ghosts) can fit the role here.

You have too much time on your hands...and I oppose Vlad being Zidane, he doesn't strike me as fun loving. Dare I say the roles should be reversed...nah. We need...hmmm Val as Garnet...=p

I always name my FFIX characters after Danny Phantom characters. Though I don't put as much thought in it as you did. ^^;

OMG. The Simpsons. I need to do that for FF7. I remember reading a surprisngly good FF7/Simpsons crossover when I was like 12 years old. It was rather hilarious (Homer had to punch Cloud repeatingly until his limit break went up).

I was actually thinking about that. Gah, I still need to draw the FF9 cast in FF7:AC roles that I planned to do months ago.
