FF7, I mostly agree. Advent Children was a nice way to get over that 500 years later thing, and to show off their pretty movie-making-ness in a plotline actually related to a Final Fantasy. "Crisis Core? Honestly, does ANYBODY actually give a shit about Zack?" YES. Japan loves Zack. Cloud can go wander off a cliff into the lifestream, but Zack is so adored by Japan that they made that anime just to appease the Zack fans. Dirge of Cerberus made me cry. Not like when Aeris died, oh, no. That was a far different kind of tear.
