A crossover pseudo fanart and CP art crap

tavalya_ra manage to struck a conversation on my DA journal that eventually led to a Chess Piece/Crack crossover idea. I don't really have the time to make out a fullscale comic of that (nor a fanfic), but here's a rough sketch of CP Danny meeting Madison. I don't know know if I'll ever ink and color it. I also don't know if I got the essence of Madison since I'm pretty bad at handling fancharacters (namely cuz' I don't use much of them myself, so I don't know, so apologies in advance, Tav).
The thing about "Chess Piece" is that the comic will span some 2-3 years at least. As a result, characters will change in physical appearance aside from character growth. Here's a look at a bunch of Danny heads as I decide on what he'll look like as he turns from teenager to adult.
More heads and potential hair changes. I am very interested in Val having short hair by the end, but not that fugly crew cut she had in TUE. I'm thinking of Halle Berry when she had short hair (I think she had short hair once). She looked absolutely gorgeous. I'm also interested in Sam being bald at one point. Other then the fact that we barely get to see bald women much, it'll be an interesting twist and somehow, fitting of Sam. Notice Vlad's goatee growing (well, if you can even see).
Here are some concept art for Danny's winter clothings for future issues. He originally came with a cape, but that was overkill, so it was nixed.
More winter coats. I was thinking of Helga's winter wear from Disney's Atlantis when it came to Val's garb. It fits. For Sam, I pictured her having cat ears hat. Skulker doesn't even need a jacket, he's dead, but he wears one anyways, ahaha.
I personally enjoy Jazz's. The long coat gives her the feel of mature vibes she gives off. Kwan is some pseudo Asian-designed jacket I'm working on to fit with his half chinese heritage. I should add in some of his half-japanese heritage, too. Tucker's is probably one of my fave jacket designs.

Kwan looks amazingly cute in the last picture. I love all the danny heads and the concept of aging in the characters..THAT is going to be cool I think.

I'm basically saying to the majority of cartoons out there, "Hey, screw you! I'm changing character appearances instead of them all looking the same!" Although I don't blame them, I know of animation budgets and whatnot, ahaha.

No worries. Madison probably thinks CP Danny is a jerk, which means she could have one of two reactions:
a) decide not to mention it and ignore the fact because Mommy will be along at any moment, so who cares?
b) be obnoxious and tell Danny he's a jerk.
Mileage may very. Option A works here.

Date: 2007-02-27 12:35 am (UTC)My Danny does prefer being on the bottom (OMG uke-sterotype, I'm a bad, bad slasher) but occassionally wants to top and also feels like the option must be available otherwise it's not an equal relationship. So Vlad will occassionally bottom to pacify or appease him. And, of course, he does it out of necessity to conceive Tempus (which really should have been Danny's first warning that something was up).

Well, okay, not so dominate as he'll be on bottom on occassion to be fair, but considering he's sex life was basically influenced by GhostWriter, well--long story short, Vlad's just damn lucky to have him in bed.

Yes. One of the best parts about writing CP Danny is all the heated debates he gets into. It's a chance to show off his sharp tongue and ability to put people in their places if they deserve it (otherwise, he leaves them alone as one his beliefs is, "As long as they don't bother me, I won't bother them").
Granted, he's not good with children, but CP Danny is more focused and intelligent then his TV counterpart. He'll basically make Canon Danny his bitch.

Danny has admitted he's a jerk and wouldn't care less, he just can't handle kids. And remember, Danny, too is Vlad spawn despite CP Vlad's more moral behavior as oppose to his TV side. He, too possesses pride and ego because--let's face it--as much as CP Vlad can claim denial he's anything but his arrogant father, he's definitly got pride and anger from him (and in turn, Danny inherited it from his papa).
Of course, the entire Masters family is just crackpot insanity. Vlad's just the referee who makes sure they don't pull some stupid shit that'll make the entire kingdom implode (even if Vlad's done his share of Masters' insanity--the Manhattan black out incident for one).
